What does support of multiple cameras mean?
mEye™ Free/Full Edition
Users can install up to 4 cameras per login and the webcams can be located on different computers at different locations.
mEye™ Enterprise
Users can install up to 16 cameras per PC on different PCs at different locations.
How does Motion Detection work?
With mEye™, Motion Detection will be able to detect any movement via the webcam/CCD/Dome camera and record a video clip instantaneosly to your local computer's hard disk. Any webcam/CCD/Dome Camera will be able to use this feature as the motion detection function is non dependent of the camera. Our mEye™ software is well programmed to be able to enable motion detection.
What is Time Scheduler ?
Time scheduler allows users to set a certain time for mEye™ to record. For example, if you are out from home from 9am - 5pm, then you will be able to set mEye™ to record during this period of time while you are not at home.
What is Local Recording/Playback?
Local Recording- To record videos at any time you want. It is scheduling for recurring periods of operation set for a time interval on a certain day of the week.
Playback- To playback is to reopen and to play the videos that were recorded with mEye™
Why is mEye™ secured?
mEye™ is only accessible by the registered mEye™ user and it's buddies. mEye™'s secured login includes a combination of the owner's sim card and password.
Why is Buddy Sharing?
mEye™ allows you to share your cameras with authorised people. In other words, other than you (the owner of the account), your family/colleague/friends etc can be allowed to access the camera as well as long as they are an mEye™ subscriber.
What is PC/Phone viewing?
mEye™ allows you view your cameras via PC/Phone no matter where you are as long as there is Internet connection or GPRS/EDGE/3G even while you are roaming overseas.
What is SMS/wap push alerts?
mEye™ lets you receive SMS in the event of an intrusion with the motion detection feature or wap push alerts with a still image or a video clip of the intrusion. This feature however is only available to Enterprise Edition.
